Ok time to update everything about yesterday. This may be long, but so worth reading, to me anyway.
So at school I carried around litrally the world's biggest sweet 16 balloon that Ashley got custom made. And I got a ton of cute gifts. My friends are so sweet, gotta love them. At lunch though Molly and I got into a verbal fight but hey that only gave me a more exciting birthday because you need some kind of rage and adrenaline on your birthday, correct? Thought so. But yeah that was all fun times and a bag of chips. I got so many people saying "Happy Birthday!" or "Happy Sweet 16" in the hall from about 90% of the school, thanks to that huge balloon haha.
Ash and I got dismissed @ 1:30 and we went home and got ready for the Sox game. We put on our shirts and hats and my Sox pants, etc. So around 4:30 we ate at the Longhorn in Boston right down the road from Fenway. That was my frist time at Longhorn and their food was seasoned with perfection. I actually enjoyed steak and usually I dislike it highly.
After dinner with my fam and Ash the fam dropped me and her off at Yawkey Way (The fun road with the huge souvenier shops and food stands that enters into the park). So yeah we shopped and I got a red Red Sox sweatshirt. Then we went into the park. We watched the Oakland A's warm up then the game started!!!
Holy shit it was the time of my life and more. First we were sitting in the wrong seats for, like, 3 innings so the old men next to me were like so nice and I got so many hugs from random strangers cause of my birthday. The old man and I were dicussing the Sox and he was like, "Wow, a 16 with such brains about baseball!" Nice complement. So after we moved a row down to our real seats it was even better. We were next to this lady with her Spanish husband and I think she might've been too but anyway me and her were talking about how much we want to grope Arroyo and just like rape him haha. Then there were two guys next to us who we talked to the whole time cause they were wicked cool although one was 40ish and the other was I think 30. But they were like, "HOLD UP YOUR SIGN GIRLS!!! HEY CAMERA MAN IT'S HER BIRTHDAY!!" And the whole time we just talked about random things while we were obsessing over the game and flipping out at the sucky umpire. But yeah then when people were getting tipsy from the beer we started throwing the beach balls out cause the lady next to us brought 2. It was so funny haha and every time the camera was in the crowd Ash and I got up in the chairs and screamed with our sign and the guys that I previously talked about were just being random it was so awesome. Everyone's like family there I love it, I can't believe I haven't been there for a year, was I crazy?! So yeah when they took Bronson out of pitching in the 7th inning I teared up and cried cause I love him. My shirt that I painted said, "The Only Way To Go... ARROYO" and I got so many complements on that, and my sign. Yeah things were tense at the 9th inning because we were 1 run behind. Then Millar got up to bat and hit the two run home run and I was just in tears and everyone was hugging me saying "I hope you're very happy on your sweet 16 I love youu!" and I was like, "OMG I LOVE YOU TOO!!!" And I was hugging everyone and groping one another and Ash and I went insane and basically we were all like having one big group hug/spazm with about 200 people if not more it was awesome and I wouldn't trade those 5 minutes for the WORLD. Yes, th Sox won on my birthday and Bronson pitched. I'm the luckiest girl, I couldn't and wouldn't ask for more.
So after the game Ash and I shopped at Yawkey again. I got pictures of Manny and then a Schilling one for Steph. Then I got a Green Monster sign thing and a Red Sox wallet and those athletic type bags taht goe around your back type of thing that has the Boston Sox "B" on it.
For presents I got a World Series Champs hat from my Mom and Dad. I also got $500.00 and a Varitek white jersey but it was big so we're getting a small Arroyo one instead. I got more money a few minutes ago and a bunch of CD's & Dvd's. My Dad also made me a 3D baseball cake. It's round and said "Happy Sweet 16 Stacey." Basically I had a Red Sox birthday, haha it was the time of my fucking LIFE.
Oh yeah! I'll update my picture site and put some pics from my birthday on there. I have pics of the sign, Sox ticket, my shirt, cake, etc.
